I learned that if you get good grades in high school, you don't have to go to university. Body: At the beginning of the term I wanted to be a policeman because i think it is a cool job catching people doing bad things and getting to lock them up in jail. Now I want to be a security guard because my dad used to be one and he had a few exciting things happen to him so I suppose you could say I aspire to be like him. I think it might be an awesome job. I like to guard people and their property from others who might try to steal their hard earned possessions. Conclusion: If I want to be a security guard I will need to be healthy, fast and strong.

Samuel-our class hearts

Today, Room 5 are re-evaluating our class goals, which we call “our hearts.” At the moment our hearts are: giving 100% effort, being at school everyday, asking for help, self-control, being eager to learn and respect. In my opinion, the most important heart is “respect” because I think Room 5 needs to work on it towards each other. Another heart which I think we need is friendship because we need to all get along so we learn heaps and don’t argue and fight. The heart that I am going to focus on for the rest of the term is self-control so I can learn more and not get distracted!

anzac day

April the 25th is the day that we celebrate Anzac day. People that went to war to fight for our freedom and died they got buried in graves with crosses and poppies on top. “Today I have been teaching my Room 3 buddy Joedzy these net book skills - how to open a doc, how to find a picture from google, how to type a sentence and change size, colour and fonts, and how to post to a blog.”
